About Angela
Angela is a 10-month-old Chihuahua with a huge heart and a lot of resilience. She’s a loving, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to curl up with her person—expect her to burrow under blankets and keep you company whether you are working, relaxing, or watching TV. Angela is clever and quick to pick up new things, and her playful side comes out once she feels safe. She rides well in the car and will thrive with someone who can provide patience and a steady routine as she works on her potty training. Angela can be vocal sometimes, especially if she smells food or can't be near you, so expect some chatter. She does best as the only dog in the home or possibly with a younger, playful companion. Past trauma left her with a skull injury, and though she’s come a long way—growing stronger, steadier, and more trusting daily—she still requires ongoing care and encouragement. Her neurologist feels optimistic about her progress, and Angela remains bright and emotionally stable. She needs an adopter who understands she’s still learning how to be part of a family and will benefit from a patient, supportive environment. Angela gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with strangers. She’s ready for someone who can help her continue to heal and thrive. Your new best friend is just one click away.
