Petrie is the sensitive little sweetheart of the group. This adorable boy can be a little cautious at first, but once he knows you’re safe, he melts right into your arms. He’s gentle, cuddly, and happiest when surrounded by friends, both human and canine. Mom is a smaller hound/beagle mix around 45 lbs, so Petrie will likely grow into a perfect medium-sized companion. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted best friend with soulful eyes, Petrie might just fly right into your heart. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
