Giovanna is a 1 year old, female, Hound mixed breed. She is a 46lb bundle of joy that loves to play and has a heart full of love. She is the kind of dog who brings light with her wherever she goes. She is friendly, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the fun. Giovanna does wonderfully with other dogs and is good with children. She enjoys long walks, has excellent leash manners, and is already showing how eager she is to learn and please. When the day winds down, Giovanna is all about the cozy life, curling up in blankets, soaking up affection, and staying close to her people. She’s also working hard on keeping her kennel clean and continues to show just how much she wants to do well. She would do best in a home without cats, where she can fully relax and thrive. After waiting for her chance to leave a rural shelter behind, Giovanna is more than ready for a fresh start and a family to call her own. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
