About Nutmeg Cider
Nutmeg Cider is a 2-year-old female dachshund mix with a speckled coat who’s just starting to learn that humans can be kind. She came in as a stray and, while she’s still unsure about people, she’s started to inch closer to her foster mom on the couch, finding comfort in small steps. Nutmeg absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with canine companions who can show her the ropes. She’s house trained, has mastered the doggy door, and enjoys simple pleasures like chasing squirrels, sunbathing, and surveying the yard from the patio steps. Playing with toys is a new discovery for Nutmeg, and it’s clear she’ll continue blossoming in a patient, low-key environment. While she doesn’t mind children, a quiet household without little kids will suit her best. She’ll need adopters who understand shy dogs and can give her the time she needs to build trust. Nutmeg is searching for a gentle home where her soft nature can flourish, surrounded by a few dog friends and someone with an open heart. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
