Skipper Drei is a senior male dachshund and chihuahua mix living in San Antonio, TX. He’s gentle, house trained, and neutered, with a medium build and striking red color. After a puppyhood injury required a front leg amputation, he now moves comfortably and enjoys an easygoing lifestyle. Vaccinations are up to date, and he’s sociable with both dogs and children.

About Skipper Drei

Skipper Drei is an 11-year-old chi-weenie (that’s a dachshund and chihuahua mix) with a mellow, easygoing charm. His red coat and petite frame fit his relaxed nature. Skipper lost his human dad not long ago and came in with his son and a canine friend. He’s always up for a sunny nap on the porch and barely makes a peep—he’s about as quiet as they come. Skipper enjoys hanging around with other dogs and gets along well with both adults and children. He had his vaccinations done, is now neutered, and got a fresh dental checkup. Early injuries as a puppy eventually led to his front leg being amputated, but this has improved his comfort, and he gets around just fine. Skipper’s not much for action—he prefers the simple pleasures of rest and company. If you’re in Central or South Texas, he’s looking for a family to share quiet days with.
