About Apollo
Apollo landed at CCPAL Rescue after spending his first year with a kind foster who took in him and his whole litter. Out of those pups, four have already been adopted, and now Apollo and his brother Orion are finally getting their shot thanks to the rescue opening up space. Apollo weighs in around 40 pounds and sits at the smaller end of the large dog category. He’s a lab/Black Mouth Cur mix who’s still a bit shy after living mostly outdoors, but he’s steadily adjusting to kennel living and leash walks. As he settles in, he’s coming out of his shell more and more each day. He’s dog friendly and has proven himself good with other pups. While he missed out on early structured training, he’s soaking up his new routine and responding well to consistency. Apollo can do well with older kids (8 and up) and would shine in a home seeking a loyal walking buddy who can give him focused attention. With the right person, Apollo will bond deeply and come into his own. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
