About Bob
Bob is a 7.5-year-old Mastiff/Lab mix at CCPAL Rescue in Bandera, TX. At around 50 pounds, he’s a sturdy guy with a lot of heart, well-suited to someone looking for a loyal, calm companion. Bob’s lower energy makes him easy to be around—he’s not bouncing off the walls, and he enjoys a good walk rather than a sprint. Like any good Mastiff, he’s got a bit of charming drool, especially when he’s been blowing bubbles or just having a nice time. He’ll keep an eye on the place and make a family feel secure, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. His coat is short and tends not to shed heavily, so there’s not a ton of extra clean-up. He’s still mastering house training but has been working on his leash skills at the rescue. Bob is neutered, vaccinated, and healthy, just waiting for a home with an older person or couple, or even a busy family in need of a mellow, watchful dog. Local adoption in Texas is preferred, but transport to select northern states is possible. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
