He was found dumped and brought to a shelter, where he was at risk for euthanasia simply for having a condition that looks more concerning than it actually is. Pumpkin has a congenital difference where the skin around his penis is split. It does not affect his quality of life. He urinates normally, has zero incontinence, and is not in any pain. He is not a candidate for surgery, and while he may be slightly more prone to UTIs, he has not had any issues so far. He is otherwise a happy, healthy boy who is ready to live a full and normal life.
