About Dingo

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 6 (4F, 2M) transferred from 1 Tail At A Time in NM at approximately 6 months old. 1 Tail pulled the litter from a shelter in November and they fell ill with Parvo. Originally a litter of 8, 2 pups did not survive. The rest completed full treatment and received continued vetting until CPR had space to add them to transport. Came with the name "Lil Tim". From the foster: Meet your new best friend! Dingo (or "Bingo" as his foster kids affectionately like to call him) isn't the kind of dog who will jump into your arms the moment you meet. He is a "slow-burn" companion-a quiet, sensitive soul who views the world with a bit of caution. While he is shy at first, he has a secret: he desperately wants to be your best friend. Once he trusts you, his true nature emerges. He has started following his foster mom around the house like a silent shadow and often snoozes nearby. He doesn't demand attention with barks or jumps; he asks for it with a soft gaze and a loyal presence. Quirks to love: prefers sticks to chew toys, thinks leashes are suspicious, is very curious about his reflection in mirrors, sometimes watches tv, and will absolutely steal your slippers (just to use as a pillow, not destroy them). The good stuff: fully potty trained, loves to cuddle up on the couch (once he gets to know you), responds immediately to correction, looks kind of like a baby deer/dingo/fox, doesn't jump or bark much, loves to spend time in the backyard just enjoying the outdoors, and is respectful with children. Dingo is looking for someone patient and loving who will help him feel safe. He also wouldn't mind a friendly doggy playmate. In return, you'll get a mellow, devoted companion who's so worth the time. If you're into earning a dog's trust and ending up with a best friend for life... he's your guy. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
