About Leo

Your new best friend is just one click away. Leo is a sweet, quiet, and independent boy with a gentle heart who is patiently waiting for his forever home. He tends to be selective with other dogs but is not reactive, making him a strong candidate for apartment or condo living. Leo enjoys his time outside, relishing in games of fetch, tug-of-war, or casual walks. He is well-behaved on leash—especially with the right harness—though he may still pull a bit from time to time. Leo is fully potty trained, though a little encouragement might help when he's on leash. He loves being an observer, showing curiosity about everything in his environment, but won't constantly follow you around and does not experience separation anxiety. With a high food drive, he finds training rewarding and exciting. Leo is currently working on his resource guarding with training, and has started medication to help with his thyroid and behavior, so he’d do best in a home without small children who might not understand his need for personal space around mealtimes. He is a wonderful companion who doesn’t demand constant attention but cherishes being included in your world. If you want a loyal, low-key dog with a big heart and a touch of quirky charm, Leo could be the perfect addition to your life. Born on May 19th, he is a determined Taurus—known for steadfast loyalty and resilient spirit. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
