She's healing up beautifully after having an eye removed, and it certainly doesn't slow her down one bit. She'd even love to help you come up with an excellent “what happened” story... shark attack, Bigfoot encounter, she's open to creative storytelling. Her remaining eye is extra special too, with beautiful heterochromia that makes her even more striking. Dorothy is gearing up to earn the coveted spot as her person's “heart dog.” She's truly a special pup, and it's impossible not to bond with her. She loves her people and forms connections quickly. She also has a great balance of enjoying being part of the action while still being independent and able to keep herself occupied. She loves toys of all shapes and sizes and is getting the hang of fetch and tug-of-war. She enjoys a good outdoor play session and is doing great with the other dogs in her foster home. She really enjoys their company, loves to play, and has a knack for getting others to join in. When the fun winds down, she's often found cuddled up with her furry friends, resting her head on a buddy. Dorothy is crate trained, almost house trained, and doing great on leash.
