While he can be shy and skittish at first, once he feels safe, Jack becomes a sweet and calm companion who adores head scratches. According to his fosterer, Jack thrives in a loving and patient environment. He prefers a calm home with minimal noise, plenty of nature-watching windows, and cozy nooks for napping. Jack is known for his expressive kneading and unique way of pushing himself along the floor during petting sessions. His meow is faint and precious—when you hear it, chances are he’s hoping for some cozy time together. Despite his initial reservations, Jack forgives easily and forms deep bonds. He spends time tucked under furniture during the day but is always accessible for affection. In the evenings, one of his favorite activities is gazing out windows. Encouraging Jack with treats and gentle patience helps him settle in, and he’s especially fond of plush balls to kick and string toys (with supervision). Cat TV is always a hit, too! Although he may seem a bit sad at first glance, Jack is a loving, playful boy who blossoms when given a second chance.
