About Rusty
Start your journey together! Apply now. Rusty has truly grown up surrounded by love and play! He’s an easygoing, friendly Domestic Short Hair who thrives on attention, toys, and a good play session—anything from a stray piece of food to plastic springs can amuse him for hours. Rusty is grateful for the simplest forms of entertainment, and his playful nature shines through in everything he does. Raised with his sister, he can hold his own during playtime, but now he's ready for his next adventure—possibly as a single cat or with a fellow playmate. Rusty’s playful energy is balanced by his affectionate side, as he eagerly greets people and always reaches out for visitors passing by. You’ll find he especially enjoys lounging and playing in a hammock, so giving him a cozy vertical spot will certainly make him happy! If you are interested in meeting Rusty, be sure to complete an adoption application. Most of our cats are cared for in foster homes, so we arrange meet-and-greets for approved applications only. All CATsNAP cats are up to date on essential vaccines, tested for common feline health concerns, spayed or neutered, treated for parasites, and microchipped for their safety. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
