They were initially quite shy and cautious, but after about a week they began showing their personalities. By around three weeks, they became comfortable enough to seek out affection and cuddle. Allspice (often called “Spicy”) is the bolder of the two. He’s curious and confident, and he usually checks things out first before his sister follows. Paprika is slightly more reserved but extremely sweet and affectionate once she feels safe. She loves licking fingers and grooming hands, and she’s very gentle and loving. They are very attached to each other and are almost always together—snuggling, playing, or sleeping side by side. They enjoy running around and exploring, and their favorite toy is a Kitty Dancer. Both kittens are quite vocal and will let you know when they’re hungry or when they want attention or playtime. They enjoy being petted and are comfortable rolling onto their backs for belly rubs. They seek out warm spots, especially heated blankets or heating pads, and like watching out the window. They also use scratch posts well and enjoy climbing and exploring their environment. Overall, they are playful, affectionate, social kittens who have grown significantly in confidence and comfort.
