About Bear

Start your journey together! Apply now. Bear and his siblings were given a second chance at life after being rescued from a crowded animal shelter in Southwest Virginia. These adorable pups—thought to be a mix of beagle, chihuahua, and pit bull, though not DNA tested—are on the smaller side and boast charming brindle short coats. Bear is the definition of a velcro pup: sweet, affectionate, and always eager to follow you around. He loves the company of other dogs and is perfectly happy spending time playing or snuggling by your side. Bear does well with cats and children, making him a delightful choice for a lively household. He’s currently working hard on his potty training and settles quietly in his crate at night. As a bonus, Bear comes with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and will be neutered as part of his adoption package. Fun fact: Bear’s birthday is February 14, making him an Aquarius—a sign known for being both friendly and playful! If you’re looking for a cuddly companion and a loyal friend, Bear could be the perfect fit. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
