About Luna

Luna is a gentle, sun-loving Labrador Retriever with a calm presence. She prefers to spend her days lounging and quietly observing what's happening around her. Not much of a lap dog, Luna still enjoys the company of her people and often finds a cozy corner to settle in close by. Over time, she's learned to walk confidently past reactive dogs with just a bit of guidance, and her initial nervousness has noticeably eased. While she can still raise her hackles around other dogs, this has become much less pronounced since arriving at the rescue. Luna has a strong food drive and can be food reactive with other animals, so she should always be fed separately—ideally in a crate—for safety. She's housebroken and well-behaved when managed appropriately, but she does need to be adopted outside of Minot City Limits due to past incidents when she got loose and approached people, causing concern. Luna has no bite history; she simply requires secure handling and thoughtful management around mealtime. She’s ready for a quiet retirement in a sun-filled home. They are waiting with paws crossed!
