About Luna

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Luna is a lovely Labrador Retriever who must be adopted outside of Minot City Limits. Originally unclaimed from Animal Impound Services, she enjoys spending her days lounging in the sun and quietly observing her surroundings. Luna prefers the company of her people over snuggling and has shown she does well walking past other kennel-reactive dogs with just a bit of verbal direction. As her comfort has grown, her hackles now only raise slightly above her shoulders when passing other dogs, much improved from when she first arrived. Luna’s history of heading out on frequent solo adventures means she’s no longer permitted within City Limits, as her tendency to approach strangers while unsecured led to difficult situations. She does not have any bite history. With proper security and supervision, Luna poses no issues in a neighborhood setting. She’s food reactive toward other dogs (and likely other animals), so for safety, she should be fed in a crate and any food, treats, or snacks should be carefully managed. Luna is housebroken and ready to settle into a quiet retirement home where she can continue to bask in sunny spots. Fun fact: Luna's birthday is April 8, making her an Aries—these sun-loving dogs are usually spirited and courageous companions. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
