About Hank
Hank is a handsome, brown-eyed, blond Labrador Retriever who’s really just looking for his person. He can be timid at first, but once he feels comfortable, he bonds closely and always seems to know who his person is, even in a crowd. He enjoys joining you for car rides and makes them even better when his favorite human is in the driver’s seat. With other dogs, Hank is sometimes social and sometimes stand-offish, so slow, structured introductions are required. He hasn’t met any cats yet. When it comes to kids, he’s wary around little ones and needs a home with older children who understand dog boundaries. In public, if he starts to get a little grumpy, he tends to fix his own behavior quickly with just a bit of guidance. Hank loves toys and tennis balls, but he’s a bit of a treat connoisseur and doesn’t go for just anything. He’s not crate trained, and trying to crate him tends to make him cranky, so that’s not the best fit. On a leash—especially with a prong collar—he shows good manners and is very manageable. Hank is about a year old, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Looking for a loyal companion to share the road and the couch? Hank is waiting in Mandan, ND. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
