About Star
Star is ready to find either a foster or forever home. She’s a one-year-old, medium-sized mix of Doberman Pinscher and German Shepherd, with a special story. As a pup, she went through some trauma that’s left her with a unique way of getting around—her back legs have some quirks. Right now, she’s doing in-home physical therapy, and it hasn’t dampened her zest for life one bit. She barrels through playtime, chases her toys, and enjoys wrestling with her favorite foster cat. Videos show she’s unstoppable. Her ears have yet to decide what direction they want, which only adds to her character. Star is all puppy: high energy, sassy, and smart enough to win forgiveness with a single look. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely adores children. If you’re the type drawn to the underdog with floppy ears and a crooked run, Star might just be the companion you’ve been missing. Fun fact—Star is a Taurus, so expect her to be both playful and stubborn. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
