About Nicky
Meet Nicky. He’s a 4-year-old Doberman with big, soft ears and a relentless, wagging tail. Nicky started off with a rough patch—he was found with a leg injury but has since fully healed, ready for a new family. He’s all about people and can often be found soaking up affection or gently playing with children. Nicky has been especially sweet with his foster’s grandkids, soaking up their attention and returning it in kind. There’s a loyal streak in him that’s hard to miss. He recently positioned himself between his handler and a car that got too close, showing both his protective instinct and his devotion. Nicky plays well with other dogs and loves a good wrestling match in the living room. He’s still learning the ropes around house training; he isn’t fully potty trained but is catching on. Crates are not his thing—he doesn’t like being confined and has even escaped before. He’ll do best in a home that doesn’t require much crating or is patient enough to help him get comfortable with it. Nicky is affectionate, loves his people, and just needs a steady, loving hand to bring out his best. Click apply to start the adoption process.
