About Brittany
Brittany is a spayed female domestic shorthair who came from a tough hoarding situation, alongside 26 other cats after their owner’s passing. The house was in poor shape, and all the cats needed a fresh start. Thanks to local rescue efforts, most found homes or placement elsewhere, but Brittany and three companions—Justin, Nick, and Jessica—are still in foster care. Right now, Brittany lives with other cats and dogs and is slowly discovering that people can be safe. Instead of hiding, she’ll stick around for a gentle word or treat, and the girls will occasionally greet you in the hallway for a brief chat. Despite her past, she reliably uses her litter box and scratching posts. Brittany builds her confidence around other cats, so she’ll need a home with at least one calm resident cat to show her the ropes. While she doesn’t need to go home with her siblings, she’d be happy to move with one or more if you have room. She needs a patient adopter willing to let her settle at her own pace and who understands it may take time for her affection to come through. All pets from this rescue are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
