Opal came to us a result of a breeding disaster. Sadly, she was bred with a Merle colored dog which resulted in her being deaf and visisually impaired. This does not slow this working girl down. She still very much craves having a job and doing what her breed was born to do! She loves to cuddle, she’s crate trained, she’s been raised with other dogs and children. She has not been around cats so we are unable to confirm how she would react to them. Opal prefers dogs bigger than her. She gets a little fiesty with the smaller ones. She is still a baby and learning manners. Her future family needs to know that training her will be challenging , but not impossible. She is very smart and wants to learn. Don’t forget she is a working dog and giving her enrichment and something to do will make her the happiest.
