About Patti
Patti is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle, reserved nature. She’s just started discovering what a calm, caring home can feel like after her puppy mill background. Expect Patti to need time—she’s cautious around new people and situations, but once she’s comfortable, she enjoys hanging near her humans and appreciates gentle petting on her own terms. Patti is not inclined to be in your lap, but she still craves company and quiet attention. Her house training is a work in progress, and she does best when her routines are predictable. Short walks suit her, and she walks nicely on leash without much fuss. A serene, adult-only household is a must, with patient folks willing to let Patti set her own pace. She benefits from another confident dog around to show her the ropes; this helps her adjust and feel more secure. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable—Patti loves to wander, sunbathe, and simply enjoy being outside. This little dog is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, recently had a dental, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped. She’s looking for a household that will let her grow and heal. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
