About Beaker
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Beaker! He's about 10 months old, 15 pounds, and basically a little burst of energy wrapped in a very cute package. Beaker didn't have the easiest start and came from an unsafe situation, but you would never know it from his personality. He didn't come out of that stuck in the past..he came out ready to go! Everything is interesting to him. Everything is worth checking out. And everything should definitely involve snacks!! He is very much still figuring things out, and he's not exactly polished yet. "Sit" and "stay" are more like suggestions than skills right now, but he tries so hard and really lights up when food is involved. Treats make him instantly lock in, even if he forgets what he was doing halfway through. Beaker is playful, goofy, and always in motion. He wants to explore, investigate, follow people around, and be part of whatever is happening. He's the type to bounce from one thing to the next like he's got important business to attend to, even if that business is just carrying a toy he immediately drops. He does great with other dogs and has even lived with cats before and did great with them! He's also good with kids and generally just happy to be included. Life is better when he's part of it! He'll do best with someone active who is up for all that puppy energy. Training, patience, consistency, and a good sense of humor will go a long way with him. He's still learning how the world works, but he's eager and open and very, very into snacks. Beaker is ready to be your best friend! Fun fact: Beaker was born under the sign of Gemini, which means he's destined to be curious and playful! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
