Meet Uno! Uno is a shy and quite boy is who seeking an adopter and new home that is going to give him lots of time, space, and patience while he is adjusting into his new space and to his new people. Uno was found as a stray and was taken care of by our amazing Kitten Street Team members, over a large amount of time Uno had decided that the humans coming to feed him were not that bad and he was ready to jump ship of being a fully outdoor cat. Uno is looking for a quite home that is going to give him all of the time he needs to warm up and start showing his true self. Uno would love to meet you, get out of here, and start fresh! The cat you are adopting is very shy. Patience and a gentle approach will be necessary to form a bond and help this cat feel that they are safe in their new environment. This means that the cat is likely to not want to interact with you at first and will need time to settle in and relax. It is likely to take weeks to months for this cat to become comfortable in your home. Even once settled, they may always be a shy cat who runs from visitors. In order to have the best chance at creating a lasting bond with your new cat, you must go at their pace. When you get home, this cat should be set up in one room of your home, with a door that will stay shut while the cat adjusts. They should be offered a variety of foods and plenty of appropriate hiding places to help them feel safe during this transition. The cat should not be let out of their room until they seem like they are making progress and seem to want to explore more of the house. Ready to Adopt?
