Mami is a lovely black cat with a gentle spirit and a heart full of affection. This sweet girl absolutely adores being pet-especially around her head and neck, which are her favorite spots for soaking up attention. She'll happily lean into your hand, asking for more love with her soft, content presence. Originally found as a stray, Mami is more than ready to leave her past behind and settle into a safe, loving home. She has experience living with children and other cats, and has shown herself to be friendly. She hasn't lived with dogs before, so any introductions to canine companions should be slow and thoughtful. Mami is the kind of cat who will quietly become your companion-always nearby, always ready for a gentle pet and a little affection. If you're looking for a loving kitty to share your home with, Mami might just be your perfect match. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
