Meet Bruce! Bruce has spent a majority of his life as a free roaming outdoor cat who has now decided the indoor-outdoor life is something he is interested in being apart of! With Bruce having been found as an outdoor cat, we do not have too much history on him. What we can tell you about Bruce is he is pretty nervous while he is becoming accustomed to his new environment and humans and once he is comfy with you he slowly comes out and starts to request some nice head pets. Bruce may benefit greatly from being an indoor-outdoor cat as that is how he has spent a majority of his life and has that mighty hunting instinct through and through! Bruce would love to meet you and, hopefully, come home with you soon! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
