About Redbone Coonhound Dogs

Redbone Coonhounds are striking, solid-red scent hounds known for their beautiful coat, pleading expression, and musical voice. They are versatile trailing dogs with an easygoing, friendly personality. Made famous by the novel "Where the Red Fern Grows," they are beloved American hound dogs.

Adopting a Redbone Coonhound brings a sweet, mellow companion who is gentle with everyone. They are great with children, good with other dogs, and surprisingly adaptable to indoor life. Their laid-back nature and affectionate personality make them wonderful family pets.
