About Hazel

Hazel is a lovely 10–11-year-old spayed female Great Dane, truly enjoying her golden years at her own leisurely pace. Rescued after her owner passed away, she is now with Big Hearts for Big Breeds. This sweet senior is looking for a forever home where she can bask in the sunshine and soak up love from her people. Her easygoing personality shines through, especially when she finds the sunniest spot in the yard to settle down for a long nap. Hazel is great with both people and children, appreciating a quiet life rather than a busy one. Previously, Hazel was thought to be not good with other dogs, but there’s more to her story. She did live happily with another male Great Dane and has had successful introductions to a foster dog, showing that with gentleness and patience, she can thrive alongside calm large dogs. At this stage, Hazel deserves a home that values the unique charm and love senior dogs offer. If you’re looking for a gentle, sun-loving Great Dane who knows how to relax, Hazel could be your perfect match. Big Hearts for Big Breeds is excited to help this beautiful girl find her cozy, loving forever home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
