Cochise, named after the revered Chiricahua Apache leader, brings a peaceful, gentle presence wherever she goes. She prefers the calm of a quiet space and has shown how much she thrives away from the noise and chaos of a crowded shelter. After losing her person, Cochise took a while to open up, but in the quieter rescue environment, she’s started to trust again—napping, cuddling, enjoying soft pets, and taking easy strolls.
