About Snow

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Snow's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Snow, a 3-year-old Boxer mix, weighing approx. 55 pounds (as of 4/23/26). Snow was neglected by her previous owners in Mississippi and malnourished before we got to her. She had also given birth to several litters of pups prior to finding us. Now this playful yet chill momma can't wait to get all the loving she deserves! Snow may get her name for her pretty coat, but this girl's no snow queen! Friendly, intelligent and affectionate, Snow will have you cheering like a kid who just got a snow day from school. She enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and adores children. Sometimes Snow doesn’t realize how big she is compared to smaller kiddos, so she would be better in a home with older children because she plays a little too rough for the toddlers. Sorry, babies! She hasn't been in a house with cats yet but hopefully they'll like her too. When it comes to learning how to be a in home, Snow's got A's across the board! She's house-trained, crate trained and leash trained (but will occasionally pull when she gets excited. There's so much to do and see!) She knows "sit" and "shake" and can't wait to learn more commands. What can't Snow do?! Probably build a snowman, but that's why you have thumbs to help her! The cold never bothered her anyway! Bring this sweetie home today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Snow, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
