Orchid is ready for a fresh start, and a softer place to land. At just 6 months old, this little 18-pound girl has already been through more than most dogs her age. Because of that, she's looking for a patient, understanding home that will help her continue to grow into the confident dog she's meant to be. Orchid is as sweet and gentle as they come. She's a certified lap dog at heart and will choose cuddling with her person over just about anything else. She loves other dogs and, despite her small size, has no problem keeping up with the big kids. Because of her past, Orchid can be a little unsure around new people, especially men, and will need a family committed to continuing positive, low-pressure introductions to help build her confidence.
