Tater Tot Female Breed: Chihuahua Mix DOB: 4/16/24, 2 years old Weight: 8 pounds Tater Tot was picked up as a stray. She is a very sweet and loving little girl! She gets along well with her 2 small foster dog siblings. She would do best in a home without cats. While she hasn't been around children yet, a home with older kids, or no kids, and smaller dogs would be ideal due to her size. Tater Tot is doing very well with house training and mostly goes potty outside, with occasional use of pee pads. She's not a fan of being confined in a crate overnight and may bark if the door is closed, but she will happily go in on her own when she's ready to rest. She walks great on the leash and does great in the car. For a such a small dog, she is very brave and likes to be involved in whatever is going on. Tater Tot does experience episodes of reverse sneezing (paroxysmal respiration) a reflex that can cause her to pause for air for short periods(common to chihuahuas). When this happens, her foster parents pull her nose upward to let air in her nostrils, and she usually gets over it quickly. She also has a short coat and some dry skin.
