Sweet, affectionate, and endearing Caper is a 14-week-old husky-shepherd mix, 24 pounds of pure heart, and he is ready to find his forever home. From day one, Caper has charmed every single person and dog he's met. He has a kind nature that makes you wonder how you ever lived without him. He loves to snuggle up close and will happily melt into your lap. Already walking nicely on a leash at just 14 weeks! He is learning to go outside and using pee pads indoors — a solid start for a 14-week-old pup. Caper is the full package — sociable, trainable, gentle-spirited, and full of love. A family dog, a hiking buddy, a couch companion. He's going to be someone's absolute everything, and he deserves someone who's ready to be his. The C litter came to us from our rescue partner in Johnson City, Tennessee. HOW TO ADOPT: THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day. Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready. Adoption Fees: Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed. Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
