OAKLEY is a curious and a lightly playful pup with a heart of an Angel! Oakley is an affectionate and gentle soul who will welcome nothing more than a good cuddle after some exploring, hanging out with his person or a little bout of playmate wrestling. Oakley is becoming more brave and independent every day. Oakley invites attention and will sit and just suck up all the love and petting he can get. Oakley is extremely gentle. If you have other animals or may acquire other animals, he may very well be a great companion to them with his gentle nature. Oakley is going to be a very connected dog to his person or persons. Oakley is very food motivated and has proven to be one of the sharper pups of the litter. With a quiet intelligence, Oakley is a quick learner. On walks he is the only sibling that will stop to basically stop to "smell the roses", observe, investigate and look to you for approval of what he's accomplishing. Oakley is one of the first to the chow line! He and brother Bailey would pull out of the day's events from the backyard to line up next to the garage door where they knew the Chow line starts regardless of what fun crazy stuff was going on in the backyard. He's a smart cookie. Oakley is the perfect mix of energy and calm. Oakley came in a little bit shy but he's feeling his own now and always has a big smile on his face (some of his pictures actually look like he has dentures !) Oakley is going to be a good, easy sailing pup throughout his lifetime. Oakley would make a great family pet. Oakley definitely has the makings of a couch potato, if allowed. Oakley would be phenomenal with a second pup in the household. Oakley is calm at meeting other pups and has the proper etiquette and energy when meeting new dogs. He is good on a leash and he draws a lot of attention, people tend to adore his looks. Being fostered close to Disneyland, they have come accustomed to sleeping right through a rash of fireworks every night - so there is no firework reaction with this litter. The perfect home would be one with another existing pup or a home that is open to taking a second pup on to fulfill Oakley's life with his human companions and a dog companion.
