Oakley is a curious, lightly playful pup with a gentle and affectionate way about him. Heās known for snuggling up after a bit of backyard exploring or wrestling with his playmates. Oakleyās confidence grows every day and itās clear that he soaks up any attention youāre willing to giveāhe loves being petted and fussed over. His temperament is extremely gentle, making him a nice fit for families with other animals, and heās quick to bond with his people. With a quiet, sharp intelligence, Oakley picks things up fastāheās food motivated, observant, and shows early signs of good manners with other dogs. Heās often first to line up for meals, alert and ready, but never pushy. On walks, Oakley is the kind thatāll pause to take in his surroundings, checking in for your approval now and then. Despite coming in a little shy, heās already plucky and social, showing joy and comfort in everyday moments (ask to see the photos where he seems to be grinning ear to ear). Generally calm in new situations, Oakley shows no worry around loud noises like fireworks and is great on leash. He thrives with another dog around and would love a family interested in adopting a second pupāhe just likes the company. Heās full of heart and has the makings of a devoted companion, just as happy romping in the yard as he is dozing beside you.
