Super Star Colt! Another great soul thrown away like a used paper plate! Amazing that people just walk away from these wonderful dogs knowing they are most likely going to be killed in these overcapacity shelters. Colt has one of the best personalities already and he's got a long way to go through life. He airs just on the calm side but can be playful just as any other pup. He's super quiet and not much rattles him, though, he's a little a bit shy with new things. He obviously wasn't in a car much before as he was a little uncomfortable laying down to sleep but he eventually got there after about an hour on his venture away from the shelter. He has displayed good demeanor towards people, children and other dogs. He's not been cat tested but he can be tested if necessary. He's got a great demeanor! We don't know how far he is in training in the home but he's very sharp and very adaptable. He keeps a clean crate so potty training should be easy. He does occasionally jump to greet or connect with you when he's excited but quickly can be redirected, so far this is his only real working note. He is on the quiet side so it doesn't seem that he will be destructive, but he is a young pup. He can have little bouts of anxiety when crated, but other than that he's a pretty smooth selling kiddo. Sweet, innocent demeanor that we want to make sure he gets to continue with through his lifetime with a new owner. He will love adventures out, dining trips out, walks, drives - anything you name it to round out this little guy's heart and soul. Another sibling pup would be awesome for this kid! So many dogs are not dog friendly so we're aiming for a home with another dog If at all possible without holding him back too long. But if you spend a lot of time with your dog, we don't mind an only dog home, as long as Colt is going to continue to be socialized with other dogs and people regularly.
