ISLAND the little wonder pup! Island was the smallest of his litter but has caught up to his siblings. This little guy is an adventurous soul who is always up for a good time with his sister Ella leading the way. He is a dog that will mimic another dog's actions. Whatever Ella does - right next to her is brother Island. Studying and mimicking her actions. When Ella positions in the playful pounce mode down to the ground eyeing her victim, Island mimics what she's doing, but not in the same precise format. He's a pretty sloppy second ! Lol With his playful and adventurous personality he'll prove to put a smile on your face and a giggle in your days. Island is the most shy of his litter. He's coming around quickly and gaining confidence everyday so much so that you wouldn't know he has this little shyness hidden inside. Just a mention so his new home is aware that he will need to just be a little patience with his progress as he may take a little longer to fully feel his oats; especially if he's going into home without another companion pup, and the fact that he'll be pulled away from his siblings. He is very much attached to his sister, Ella. The home we are striving to land for Island is with another pup or another visiting pup that would keep him socialized and fulfill his dog life throughout. He will thrive with a family that can provide him with plenty of mental and physical attention to so we're him into maturity properly. Island is food motivated which will make training easy. Island is a social butterfly and gets along with other dogs but was bossed around by a foster owned smaller dog which twice became scuffles as Island became intolerant of always being attacked by his foster mate. Island has been socialized around other dogs and as long as they are not threatening or attacking him he gets along splendidly. Other than their puppy chewing on testing of items that are left around, these pups have a air of maturity, peacefulness and are mellow most of the day/night believe it or not. Being fostered close to Disneyland, they have come accustomed to sleeping right through a rash of fireworks every night - so there is no firework reaction with this litter. This litter is very warm and loving, studious and though great with dogs are people focused primarily. With his goofy and friendly demeanor, Island will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. He is a unique pup with a heart of gold looking for his forever family to sweep him off his paws.
