Because of this, he will need to go to a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can help show him the ropes and provide reassurance. He is still learning to trust people and will need a committed adopter who is willing to go slow, build a strong bond, and help him feel safe through consistent, positive experiences. Zachariah can be sensitive with handling and will thrive with a calm, patient adopter-ideally someone experienced with shy or under-socialized dogs-who understands the importance of respecting his boundaries and moving at his pace. A secure, fenced-in yard is required so Zachariah can safely explore, run, and continue building confidence in his environment.
