Meet Bunny! This sweet 8-week-old dachshund mix made the journey from Puerto Rico to Colorado and is ready to find his forever home. We expect him to grow to around 20–30 lbs. Bunny is the definition of a cuddle bug. While he enjoys a good play session with his people and dog friends, his favorite place is curled up next to you soaking in all the snuggles. He’s got a gentle, easygoing personality and is happiest when he’s close to his humans. He’s working on potty training, getting the hang of leash walking, and loves toys. At night, he sleeps in his crate but would never turn down a little morning snuggle session before starting the day. Bunny is friendly with new people and does well with other dogs. He hasn’t met cats yet, but given his laid-back nature, we expect he’ll adjust just fine. Bunny is not yet neutered and still needs to complete his vaccines, so he’s available as a foster-to-adopt. This means you’ll foster him until he’s ready, then finalize the adoption. Like many satos from Puerto Rico, Bunny is likely a mix of several breeds, but one thing is certain, he’s all heart.
