HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: unknown DOGS: unknown KIDS: no small kids KNOWN LIKES: pets and cuddles with trusted people KNOWN DISLIKES: still getting to know him ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: For three long days, Hope was laying on the street in Doha, Qatar, without moving. He was in agony. People passed by, barely noticing him. His tiny body was shutting down. A kind person heard about his suffering and immediately ran to find him and rushed him to the vet, where they received the devastating diagnosis: FIP with severe neurological effects. Teddy's chances of survival were minimal. More than once, his doctor believed they were about to lose him. He couldn't stand properly. He couldn't control his movements. His eyes were filled with confusion and pain. But Hope had something stronger: faith and resilience. He received the GS-441524 treatment and very slowly, the miracle began. First, he lifted his head. Then he tried to stand. He fell... and tried again. Day by day, he relearned how to walk. Step by step, his body remembered life. And today? Today Hope runs, plays, looks at you with bright, curious eyes full of gratitude. Hope survived the impossible! Hope has traveled to the DC metro area to find a home that will treasure him as much as the people who fought so hard to save him. Hope is a shy with new people, but give him a chance to quietly settle in at his pace and he'll show you lots of love. He enjoys pets and cuddles and will make a wonderful furry family member!
