About Willow
Meet Charlie and Willow, a charming bonded pair of 13-year-old black and white ladies looking for a peaceful home to spend their golden years together! Charlie is the social butterfly of the duo—she enjoys being around people and happily shares space with her humans and feline friends. She’s a fan of toys, wand play, and a good scratcher, and she often prefers to be near you rather than constantly handled. Charlie has a playful, sassy side too—she may roll over and show her belly, but beware... it’s a classic kitty trap! She’s not a fan of dogs, carriers, nail trims, or having her tail touched, and she’ll appreciate an adopter who respects her boundaries. Willow is a friendly, medium-energy companion who loves people and isn’t shy about chatting with you. She can be a little tentative with new faces at first, but her curiosity quickly wins out. Willow enjoys a variety of toys—especially wands, balls, catnip toys, and even laser pointers—and she’s great about using her scratcher. Like Charlie, she’s not a fan of dogs, carriers, or nail trims. Together, Charlie and Willow make a wonderful pair—balancing each other beautifully with affection, personality, and just the right amount of playfulness. They’re looking for a calm, dog-free home where they can settle in comfortably and continue to thrive side by side. If you’re ready to welcome two loving, quirky companions into your life, Charlie and Willow are ready to meet you! These two are a bonded pair who can’t imagine life without each other, so they’ll need to be adopted together. To help make that happen, only one adoption fee applies! Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
