About Coonhound Dogs

Coonhounds are a group of scent hound breeds developed in the United States for tracking raccoons and other game. They share common traits including incredible noses, melodious voices, and gentle, friendly temperaments. They are as comfortable on the couch as they are on the trail.

Adopting a Coonhound brings a sweet, easygoing companion who is loyal and affectionate with their family. They are typically good with children and other dogs, making them excellent family pets for those who can provide enough exercise and can appreciate their occasional vocalizations.
