About Roscoe P Coltrane

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Roscoe is a striking and distinguished hound, known for his athletic build and captivating appearance. He delights in spending time with his brother, sister, and foster siblings, showing off his playful and goofy nature. While Roscoe approaches new situations with care and caution, he shines in the outdoors, where his adventurous spirit emerges. His vivid markings—especially the bright 'pumpkin seeds' above his sparkling eyes and his cute freckles—set him apart. Roscoe enjoys the company of dogs of all ages and sizes and has experienced cats at a distance. He absolutely loves puppies! While his exposure to children has been minimal, he remains a gentle and sensitive companion. Rescued from a difficult start to life as the offspring of a stray, Roscoe has blossomed in foster care, but his timid history means he'll truly thrive with an experienced, patient adopter willing to help him adjust. Roscoe requires a securely fenced yard and would do especially well with another playful dog who also loves outdoor adventures. A family who can provide him time and space to build trust will be rewarded with a wonderful companion. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He's crate trained and is making strides with leash walking. He’s currently being lovingly fostered in Rutledge, GA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
