About Gill

Gill is a 9-year-old chihuahua mix who has weathered a tough past and come out the other side looking for comfort and stability. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in Texas along with other dogs and is now settling into life in Wisconsin. Gill is still learning to fully trust people—he’s wary at first when approached, but quickly melts for pets once he senses kindness. He gravitates toward the other dogs in his foster home and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Gill does have a few quirks. He sometimes marks indoors and currently wears belly bands to help with this habit, though there’s hope he’ll ease out of it once he feels truly secure in a new environment. He’s generally a champ in his kennel and reliably does his business outside aside from the marking. Gill has been vetted, is neutered, and current on vaccinations. While not currently in a foster home with children, he’s shown he can get along with kids, dogs, and cats.
