About Enzo
Enzo is a small Chihuahua mix, about 4 years old, and weighing in at 12.5 pounds. He came from a tough background—a fire hoarding case where he spent too long without a real home. Enzo landed in foster care in Wisconsin, hoping for his shot at something better. He comes off shy and a little nervous at first, sticking close to your heels once he settles in. If left alone, or separated by a barrier, he quickly lets everyone know he prefers company, especially from other dogs. Enzo really thrives in a home with another canine companion, ideally one similar to his size or larger. He loves outdoor time and would do best with a fenced yard. Because he’s skittish and quick, Enzo is considered a flight risk; he needs watchful eyes when outside. House training will require ongoing patience—he currently wears a belly band indoors. Plush toys and gentle hugs are just his thing once he grows comfortable. Apartments with shared walls aren’t a good fit, but he’ll make a loyal addition in a quiet home that appreciates little quirks and big-hearted survivors. Ready to meet your new best friend?
