**Please read Bombay Spirits' entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Bombay Spirits, a 5 month-old (as of 4/21) Carolina Dog/Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing 34 pounds (as of 4/21/26)! Bombay (part of our SPIRITS litter) was born in Tennessee to nice, mellow medium-to-large breed dogs. While Momma is staying with the owner, this litter was surrendered so they could find their next high-class home with you! No need to be blue when you've got Bombay around! Bombay Spirits is an all-around wonderful puppy that would fit great into any household. He's so friendly and is thrilled when visitors come to the house. He wants to make friends with everyone - people, kids, dogs - everyone! A stranger is a friend he hasn't met yet! He has the most adorable expressions and will frequently have one floppy ear and one pointy ear. So cute! He also has incredibly soft fur with some unique coloring of grey under his cream. He gets so many compliments on both his looks and demeanor. He has been a star at the GDRNE events he's attended and it's truly a mystery that he hasn't been scooped up yet! Lucky for you, I suppose! He is more than ready to find his new home. Bombay is already 100% crate-trained and potty-trained! He'll even go right in his crate when told 'go to bed'. He's never had an accident in his crate and even is used to a routine of sleeping in on the weekends. He will need someone dedicated to basic puppy training with him as he is still learning but he clearly already knows what counts most. His adopter will need to continue to work on basic commands and leash-skills. He loves walking on a leash but may pull a bit in his excitement. There is so much to see and do; who can blame him? He loves hiking in the woods and playing in the yard. He's really curious and so much fun! Bombay is very smart and is highly treat-motivated. He is very good at figuring out his dog puzzles and brain toys. He is still teething so chew toys are a must right now. He loves gnawing on nylabones. Bombay is very playful and silly and goofy. He is a classically fun puppy that is certain to bring a ton of joy to any family! Bombay has not yet met any cats but absolutely loves the dogs he is fostered with. He'd love a dog sibling but it's not a requirement since he's pretty go with the flow and could likely fit in anywhere. He also quickly got used to the iguana and goats he's fostered with. He's been to family parties, hung out with small children, and is the kind of dog that would love any adventures where he could meet people; the brewery, flea market, and dog parks are all on his summer bucket list! If you are looking for a really cute and fun family member that you can take anywhere and who will be the life of the party, put in an application for Bombay Spirits before someone else scoops up this gem of a puppy! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Bombay Spirits, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
