AvailableMia Maple is a medium-sized, short-coated Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix in Oklahoma City, OK. She is an adult female, fully house trained, and spayed. About Mia Maple
Mia Maple is a smart Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who’s weathered more than her share of storms. After years fending for herself in rural Oklahoma, this velcro dog finally found foster care and top-tier veterinary attention. Her skin, once severely damaged, is now soft, with most of her coat filling back in—though a few bald patches remain from chronic demodex. Mia’s life is now all about fetch, dismantling stuffed toys, and sticking close to her person. She has a knack for finding her way through gate and door latches, which keeps things interesting. Mia gets along well with larger dogs and older kids, but small children and little dogs can make her nervous (not aggressive, just unsure). Her foster calls her part angel, a loving testament to how gently Mia fits into home life after such a rough start. She’ll be transported to her new home upon adoption, with all fees covering this transit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
