Bohdi is a 9-month-old Staffordshire/pittie mix (DNA confirmed) who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in California — and after a brief adoption that wasn’t quite the right fit, he’s back and ready to find his forever home. Bohdi is a puppy who needs structure, consistency, and a family genuinely committed to his training and growth. He has a sweet, people-loving, tail-wagging heart and all the enthusiasm of a dog who hasn’t met a human or dog he doesn’t adore. At 38 pounds he’s a solid, compact, handsome boy — affectionate, food motivated, and eager to please, which makes training him fun and rewarding. He’s crate trained, potty trained, sleeps through the night with his favorite dinosaur stuffie, and does great in the car. He loves other dogs and has thrived in his foster home alongside multiple canine companions. He does jump up and has some impulse control work ahead of him — but he’s smart, responsive, and picks things up quickly when given clear expectations. Bohdi would do well in a home with a balanced, playful dog who can match his energy, or as an only dog with an active family committed to keeping him socialized and engaged. Bohdi thrives on human connection and does best in a home where someone is around a good amount. A work-from-home household or a family where someone is generally home would be an ideal fit. Long stretches alone aren’t his strong suit, and he’ll reward the right family with unwavering loyalty and love. His status with cats is unknown and would require slow, careful introductions. A home with older children would be best given his jumping and puppy enthusiasm. Bohdi is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $500.
