Dug is a resilient sweetheart who's been quietly blossoming since arriving in our care. Like many dogs who haven't had the easiest start, he came to us underweight and in need of some extra TLC. With regular meals, structure, and lots of gentle attention, Dug is filling out beautifully and looking healthier every week. He's a social, people-oriented boy who truly enjoys human companionship. Dug has a soft, soulful expression and leans into affection, clearly soaking up the love he may have missed before. He's happy to join you for a stroll or simply stand close by your side - he just wants to be part of things. We're still learning about Dug and don't yet know how he feels about other animals, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. What we do know is that Dug is a kind, grateful dog who's ready for a fresh start with a family committed to continuing his journey toward a bright and secure future.
