Teagan arrived in rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her. She did arrive heartworm positive, but it was a very mild case and she has been treated and is thriving. Her foster mom says: Meet Teagan, the delightful corgi with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! Teagan is a leash-walking pro who adores spending time outdoors, soaking up the sun and exploring the world. Her absolute favorite things include toys and playtime, whether it's a game of fetch, squeaking her favorite toys, or a bit of roughhousing. Teagan is a real people-lover and cherishes being around her human, always ready for a cuddle or a petting session. Teagan is not a huge fan of having to share her human and doesn't truly enjoy other dogs in her space, so she will thrive best as an only dog. While she can be selective with her doggy friends, her loyalty to her person is unmatched. When it comes to potty habits, Teagan is a star as long as she's kept on a regular schedule. She would do best where she doesn't have to encounter lots of other pups on her walkies though - so no apartment complexes for her and she is definitely not a dog park girlie.
