Pierre has already shown himself to be a confident, friendly boy who greets everyone he meets with joyful enthusiasm. He's off to a great start in his foster home, riding nicely in the car, walking well on leash, and handling things like baths and ear cleanings like a total champ. He's also a big fan of mealtime and hasn't missed a dinner yet. Right now, Pierre is focusing on getting healthy. He will need to be neutered and undergo airway surgery to help him breathe more comfortably. He's also starting a slow, healthy weight loss journey, as he came in a little overweight. With the right care and support, he's on track to feel his very best. As Pierre settles in, we'll continue to learn more about how he does with other dogs, children, and new environments so we can find the perfect match for him.
